The wheels are rolling, and I’m definitely liking where I’m headed.
I’m pumped for Cee Lo Green’s upcoming album, The Lady Killers.
“Lovin’ you, I’ll make it my job.”
Sorry for spamming about Kanye’s new song, but I freaking love it. I’m done now.
Kanye West - Runaway
FIRE!
Edit: I ripped the audio from a youtube video, it’ll have to do for now until the CDQ comes out.
melt my heart to stone (green lantern ft. johnny polgon remix) by adele
right under my feet there’s air made of bricks
pulls me down turns me weak for you
i find myself repeating like a broken tune
and i’m forever excusing your intentions
and i give in to my pretendings
which forgive you each time
without me knowing
they melt my heart to stone

Today marks a big step in what I’m hoping is the right direction. Having your plans for the future not work out isn’t a great feeling, but I really do believe I’ve made the right decision this time. Although I’ll be leaving a school, at which I’ve made some great friends (whom I hope I can still keep in touch with), I think its finally time that I do something productive and not just waste my life essentially just hanging out. I do have to say that I will miss just about everything at UIC (minus the hard work). But I am kind of excited as to what possibilities nursing can have. Even though its going to take a few more years for me to finally get a degree, I’m so glad its going to be in something that is stable. That’s the whole reason I switched again, because having that uncertainty of being able to get a job and keep it was nerve-wracking.
I’ve made some dumb decisions in my life but I have a good feeling that this isn’t one of them. I’m starting a new chapter in my life and its mine to write. I think Bob Marley had it right when he said, “Don’t worry ‘bout a thing, ‘cause every little thing is gonna be all right.”
Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties. The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person. The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren’t interested in wasting time with people you don’t really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.Your views on education
Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own.The right job for you:
You have many goals and want to achieve as much as you can. The jobs you enjoy are those that let you burn off your considerable excess energy. How do you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying. What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

Hoodie Allen - You Are Not A Robot
This is such a sick sample, I have a feeling I’m going to be playing this song on repeat for the foreseeable future.
Today was definitely a G.O.O.D. day spent with great people. UIC held a free concert for students today that featured Footlight Frenzy (eh), Barefoot Truth, Girl Talk, and Kid Cudi. My friends and I were front row, center for pretty much the entire concert. Girl Talk and Kid Cudi killed, as expected. Girl Talk was fucking nuts, the crowd went insane for his set. Kid Cudi performed some stuff off of MOTM and some new stuff that supposed to be on his next album. But Barefoot Truth really surprised me. They have a different sound than most bands. They have a jazz-raggae feel to them and they can cover songs and really make them their own (Single Ladies).
And just one more time for good measure, WAYNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
